Place the naan / flatbread on the parchment paper. Brush it with olive oil. Bake for 2 minutes at 350°F. [Optional step for crispy crust]
For cheese pizza
Remove the tray or basket from the air fryer. Spread about 3 tablespoons of sauce on the flatbread and sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly.
Place the air-fryer basket or tray back inside the air fryer. Continue to cook the flatbread at 350°F for about 3-4 minutes until the pizza has started to brown the edges and the cheese is bubbling.
Transfer the flatbread to a cutting board carefully. Season it with pepper and chili flakes (if desired). Slice it into pieces and serve immediately.
For veggie pizza
Remove the tray or basket from the air fryer. Spread about 3 tablespoons of sauce on the flatbread, place flattened mozzarella balls along with sliced onions and bell peppers.
Place the air-fryer basket or tray back inside the air fryer. Continue to cook the flatbread at 350°F for about 3-4 minutes until the pizza has started to brown the edges and the cheese has melted.
Transfer the flatbread to a cutting board carefully. Season it with pepper and chili flakes (if desired). Slice it into pieces and serve immediately.
