Cut each idly into 3 equal pieces.
Place a shallow pan on medium heat and add ghee to it. When the ghee melts way, add the cut idlis and let them roast for about 3-4 minutes. [Note: DO NOT try to stir them. The idlis may just crumble down]
Gently flip to the other side and let them roast for another couple of minutes. Take it off heat.
Serve warm with sprinkled sugar on top.
