Wash the potatoes thoroughly and peel them. You can leave the peels on if you like
Cut the potatoes into sticks that are about 3 inches long and 1/4 inch wide.
Soak them in cold water for about 20-30 minutes. Rinse and dry the potatoes using a clean dish towel or paper towel.
Toss them in a mixture of oil and seasonings of your choice till they are completely coated.
Place them in the air frying basket - don't overcrowd them. You'll have to make it in batches.
Air fry them for about 16 minutes at 400°F. Pause the air frying at around 8 minutes and toss the fries to enable even cooking. If using a CrispLid use tongs to flip the French Fries.
Serve them hot with ketchup or any dip of your choice.

Variations While salt and pepper are the seasonings of choice, I love to mix it up by adding a dash of the following seasonings -
