Did you know that on an average most moms spend between 7-10 hours a week on the road?

No, I am not talking about their commute to work.

It is the time they spend dropping/picking kids from school/after-school activities. And for some moms like me, that number could be as high as 15 hours/week (my kids go to 2 different schools that are 13 miles apart..sigh..).

Just like most moms, I am good at packing snacks for kids but often forget about myself. That means that by the time we reach home, I am famished and running low on patience and energy. I am too tired to get dinner on the table or help with homework and all I want to do is stuff my face with junk food. Definitely not a happy sight.

Does that sound like you?

If it does, then there are two things that we need to fix – make sure we are hydrated and pack better, organic snacks for the road that would keep us satiated until dinner. Once I realized that I rushed off to my neighborhood Mariano’s, like a mom on a mission – to find on-the-go snacking solutions!

As I walked up and down the aisles, the Honest Tea® drink caught my eye. The display had so many different flavors that I didn’t know which one to pick!  After deliberating for some time, I literally grabbed them all. I know I couldn’t go wrong with this brand.

I have had Honest Tea before and I love that it is organic, brewed with real ingredients and just a tad sweet. Apart from the fact that Honest Tea drinks are great tasting, it is also good to know that it stands for: Honesty and transparency – from the way the ingredients are presented to the company’s efforts to help make the earth a better place. Organic and fair trade have always been core to the Honest Tea mission. Learn more about the mission here.

Honest Tea drinks are amazing because not only you can drink it by itself but they are also a refreshing addition to smoothies like in this Pineapple Orange Mango Smoothie.
