- Learn how to store strawberries so that they stay fresh for a week.
This is the process I follow and that keeps the strawberries from getting moldy in the refrigerator for about a week-
- Soak the strawberries in a water-vinegar solution for 5 minutes. Note – The amount of solution will depend on the number of strawberries you have. To make this solution, follow this ratio – For every 2 cups of water, use 1/4 cup white vinegar.
- Rinse the strawberries in cold water to wash off the vinegar.
- Use a paper towel to wipe the strawberries dry.
- Line the container that the strawberries came in with paper towels and place the strawberries back in.
- Refrigerate.
